In Memory of Judy

Judy Buckler Young

May 30, 1951 - May 3, 2009

My Friend since first Grade Judy Young passed away today. She has fought with Breast Cancer for 13 years. She went 7 years cancer free after her first treatments. It came back with a vengeance. She has had almost non stop Chemo for almost 4 yrs now, but in the end, the cancer took her. I was blessed to visit with her a couple of weeks ago, and spent about an hour talking with her. We didn't see each other all the time, but I believe we were kindred spirits.

Through the years we talked about everything, family, God, everything. She had the most amazing husband, Doug and he stayed by her side until the very end. They had a beautiful cabin in Montana and she loved to be there.
Good Bye Judy, and May God bless Doug, Lance & Brandon, Nichole, Tyler, Colby, Dylan, McKenzie, and Carson.

Her Service was May 9th and was wonderful. They played Sissy's Song a beautiful song by Alan Jackson. It was so appropriate.

I am A Great Grandma !!

Yesterday April 23, I became a Great Grandmother. My Grandaughter Kylee Gave birth to a Beautiful Baby Girl 7 lbs 2 oz Kazree Ann. It was a Wonderful Experience to see my First Grandaughter, Have My First Great Grandaughter.

Kylee had such an easy time thanks to modern medicine . It doesn't seem fair, she had no Hee Hee Breathing and was only in Labor for about 8 hrs. It was pretty calming. My Daughter Amy is a Grandma now and was able to be with her during the birth. CONGRATULATIONS To All of them. Kazree is Beautiful.

Welcome Sunshine

It seems like time just gets away from us. I can't believe It is April Already. Yesterday we had a Shower for my Granddaughter for her first Baby. It was fun and we had a lot of people there.It was fun seeing everyone. I will post more when the first of our two new Grandbabies are here. The first one will be our GREAT Grandbaby and she will be darling, just like Kylee.Then In May or June, Megan will have her first baby, also a girl. Yeah !
In the meantime Have a Wonderful Easter.

Jeanie sent me some pictures of her boys riding their horses. Jake is 12 and loves to make funny faces. Ryker is 4 and he called me and was so excited that he rode his horse all by himself !!!

Guess Who's getting Married !!

Our Grandson Kyler Harsha is engaged to a darling girl, Kaylee Bell. They are getting married in September. CONGRATULATIONS !!!

January in Arizona

Here's a few Pictures I took of the beautiful scenery. The shadow of the cactus looked to me like A Mother holding a Baby.


Well Robin and I had our first little taste of being Snowbirds as we headed to Quartsite AZ for the month of January. We got there about the 10th and came home on the 6th. We stayed at an RV Park called "Wagons West ". It is about 18 miles east of QUartzite. It was so fun. They have so many nice people and Lots of activities going on. There are several RV parks in the area and someone always has something happening. Robin made his debut by doing a show and several Jam Sessions. Every Day there is one at some park in the area. He has 3 shows booked so far for next year.
We had a lot of fun going on Four Wheeler rides and Finding Rocks !! Robin has become somewhat of a Rock Hound. The club house has several classes going on. I took wire wrapping classes and Line Dancing. They have Pot Lucks, and of course BINGO nite. ! I think we are getting old, because we had FUN !!
I enjoyed taking pictures of some of the scenery. The cactus is so beautiful and on our rides we saw Longhorn sheep. I thought a month would be so long, but it went by SO-OO fast. Next year we will probably stay longer if we can.
We are glad to be home. It was so warm down there, and nice to get out of the snow and cold, but it was nice to be back home.

I can't believe it is already 2009 !! I thought I would never live long enough to even see 2000 !
This will be quite a year for our family that is coming up. Tyson graduates from High School, Megan is having a Baby Girl and Kylee is having a Baby girl also. I will be a GREAT Grandma in April and a Grandma again in June.
Also in June, Robin and I will have our 40th anniversary. Which also means my HS Reunion will be this summer too. WHEW !!
What a wonderful family we have ! I love seeing it grow and grow. I am so proud of each and every one of them. The day I met my Hubby Robin, 43 years ago, was probably the best thing that happened to me. We have been so blessed,throughout our life,we have had ups and downs, but they have only made us stronger and closer.
Here comes 2009 !!! Bring it on and I pray that we have a wonderful new year and our country will be recovering from it's problems. Thank God we live in such a wonderful country. It may not be perfect,but it is the best there is. May God Bless all of You, and may he also Bless America.

It's that time of Year Already !

I can't believe that December is here already. I need to get busy shopping as fast as time flies. I am not brave enough to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving, so I better get on the Ball. We put up our Christmas Decorations Today. The Pressure is On. !!!
Last week I went with Kylee and Hadlee to see the Nutcracker. I had never been there before, and it was fun.

Happy Halloween

Well it's Over Already, But we had so much fun. The grandkids are ADORABLE. Robin's Mom, aka Nana, got dressed up and gave out candy at the Care Center. Today she moves to an Assisted Living Center. Janet thinks of the cutest Costumes, A and Nana is such a good sport !! Especially at 95.
Then we had Cameron & Kaycee, ( Shawna's) come over as BatGirl and Darth Vader. They are so cute and get into Character. Hadlee ( Amy's) was Dr.Hadlee, and then Jeanie sent me pictures of Batman Ryker and Nerd Jake ! What a Hoot.It was fun seeing all of these cute kids having fun.
